Stasia Bahring
Ballet, Pointe

Stasia is a recent graduate with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. With two undergraduate degrees consisting of a BA in dance with a performance concentration and a BS in biology, she also holds world-recognized certifications to teach the Cecchetti method of ballet levels I-VI. Her dance education continues through attending professional workshops yearly through the Cecchetti Council of America, as well as occasionally the American Dance Festival, Paul Taylor´s summer intensive and Amy Marshall´s summer intensive. She has performed in the Phili Fringe festival, Cool New York Dance Festival, at the Kennedy Center and for many years on the Stockton stage in spring concerts, choreoprojects and gala´s. Also, her modern choreography has represented Stockton College at two ACDGFA conferences. Her first year at Spotlight has been a pleasure and she looks forward to returning for the summer season and next fall.

 
Lisa Carlson
Combo I, Ballet, Musical Theater, Hip Hop, Jazz
      

Lisa is a graduate of Musical Theatre program at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy´s New York City Campus where she participated in the Ballet, Tap, and Jazz Workshops each semester. Lisa has been studying all forms of dance for the past ten years locally and at Broadway Dance Center, Joffery Ballet School, and Steps all in NYC. Lisa has performed at Six Flags Great Adventure, Disney Land, and was a member of Team Rave NY dance company. She also participated in many fundraisers, competitions, and invitational´s at such places as Pace University in Manhattan to help raise money for various causes. In 2003 Lisa was a back up dancer for Neil Young at PNC Bank Arts Center and Trump Taj Mahal. Lisa has also toured with American Music Abroad in seven countries in Europe where she was a soloist member of the Choir. She also performed in her own Cabaret Show in New York City. Lisa has danced and sang as the entertainment for the Mrs. New Jersey and Ms. Hawaiian Tropic Pageants in Atlantic City. Lisa has been on tour with Donna Summer as a production assistant and wardrobe coordinator. Lisa also has had the privilege to work with other talented artists such as Meatloaf and Michael Bolton. Lisa also teaches private voice lessons and choreographs for the Southern Regional Theatre Co. Lisa is a former student of Spotlight Academy and is thrilled to be back as a teacher and working with Ms. Rocki. Lisa is very committed, passionate, and excited about her involvement with Spotlight Academy of Dance. She appreciates the dedication and devotion of students and teachers in making this studio a great experience for all.
